Honey!

Honey is composed of sugar, water and vegetable substances. It is a 100% natural product derived exclusively from the hard work of the bees. There are many varieties of honey, the taste and consistency are closely related to flowers pollinated species, region or at the location of the hive.

Some honeys are soft and their taste is not too strong (acacia, lime, orange), others are stronger (eucalyptus, fir, buckwheat) and may have a more pronounced taste (chestnut, lavender, thyme).

At harvest time, honey is still liquid. These are the producers who, after harvest, perform various operations to make it more fluid or creamier, meeting the different ways of consuming it. Honey is indeed widely used in the kitchen: we spread it on bread, we are incorporating our salty-sweet dishes, its used to prepare marinades, desserts, etc.

Now for the benefits of honey:
- Honey is recommended in case of fatigue because it is a source of energy.
- Honey promotes growth because it sets the calcium and magnesium.
- In hot beverage (water, lemon, honey), a gargle or candy, honey soothes irritated throats.
- A teaspoon of honey to melt slowly in the mouth, is recommended to soothe a dry or wet cough.
- More digestible than sugar as containing very little sucrose, honey is recommended for people with digestive disorders.
- Honey promotes falling asleep.

In external application:
- Honey soothes burns and sunburn.
- It also relieves insect bites (and spades unless the vinegar).
- Diluted with sweet almond, honey nourishes and moisturizes chapped and crevasses on the skin or on the lips.
- In the mask, it can revive the radiance of the skin and hair.
- In the bath, so Cleopatra, honey associated with pasteurized milk cleans the skin.

Besides being tasty, the honey proves to be a valuable ally for our health but also our beauty!
